David P. Robertson
Dr Robertson has lived and practiced dentistry in Carteret County since 1985. He graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University where he was a Phi Beta Kappa biology major as well as a Carswell Scholar. He attended the UNC School of Dentistry, receiving the Mosby Award for academic excellence and graduated in 1985.
Dr Robertson's first dental practice was in Sea Level, NC. In 1989 he joined the practice of Dr Walter White in Morehead City prior to Dr White's retirement. Dr Robertson is a member of the American Dental Association, the NC Dental Society, the Crystal Coast Study Club and the Four Corners Study Club. He and his wife Terry built the office on Bridges Street in 2002.
Terry practices psychotherapy in an adjoining suite at 3002 Bridges Street. They are members of First United Methodist Church and have two grown daughters, Kate and Helen. Kate is married to Bryan Maxwell and they reside in Washington, DC. Helen is a student at UNC Chapel Hill. Dr Robertson plays trumpet in the Morehead Brass Consortium and serves as President of the Morehead City Board of Adjustment.
He was on the founding committee to create the Carteret County Health Department's dental bus "Miles of Smiles" that provides dentistry for underserved elementary and middle school students. He is also a regular volunteer on the Baptist Dental Bus Ministry that provides dental care to those in need through the Broad Street Clinic.
